We are aware of issues with BGP monitoring that caused several customers to receive false positive BGP reachability alarms.

Early on Sep 3, we were notified by internal monitoring that a core message bus was in a degraded state. We implemented a temporary fix over the weekend that ultimately proved to be unsuccessful. We then followed up with a more permanent fix late on Sep 4 that appears to be holding. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will likely follow up with additional fixes and improvements as the week progresses.
