Synthetics Test Alerting Conditions Update Oct 9, 2024 17:00-21:00 UTC
Starting Oct. 9th 2024, All Synthetic tests will be updated to require the same Agent & Metric pair to meet the 'Alerting Conditions' criteria set under the 'Alerting and Notifications' section of a tests configuration. This change will tie synthetic alerts to single Agents, providing better insight into impacted geo regions and networks. No action is required. However, Any new or updated tests after Sept. 24th 2024 will start using the new method immediately.

Note: When a test is updated, any active alerts will be cleared and may trigger again as a new alert.

Resolved - The incident has been resolved.

Monitoring - Database replicas were experiencing query deadlocks and high replication lag. We have restarted all the followers and the service levels seem to recover quickly. We're currently monitoring to see if we come back to full health.
